Hey there! Thanks for visiting IAMinControl.org. Unfortunately, we will not be creating any new posts after October 1, 2018. Teen Line lets you talk to another teen to vent or get help with your problems. You can contact them by phone, over text, through email, or post on their message board.
Stay Teen offers information on relationships, abstinence, sex, sexually transmitted infections, and birth control. They also let people anonymously submit questions and will post answers on a specific topic each month.
Healthy Children offers articles for parents on different topics that are important to teens such as dating, fitness, nutrition, school, driving safety, and substance use.
Medline Plus offers articles on teen health issues that are aimed at both teens and their parents.
TeenHealthFX allows you to ask questions about different health topics and posts the answers to their site so you can browse old questions for topics you’re curious about or ask your own. Some of the topics they cover are emotional health, general health, health and illness, relationships, sexuality and sexual health, sports and nutrition, and alcohol, smoking, and drugs.
Teen Health and Wellness offers articles and self-help tools that cover body basics, developmental disabilities and disorders, diseases, infections and conditions, diversity, drugs and alcohol, eating disorders, family life, friendship and dating, green living, grief, mental and emotional health, nutrition and fitness, safety, sexual health, and life skills.
Teen Mental Health offers information on different mental health disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder or obsessive compulsive disorder as well as general mental health topics such as getting enough sleep. It also offers resources to support someone who is struggling with their mental health.
Science Daily offers research news about health topics that affect teens.
Teen Health on Huffington Post offers news articles related to teen health issues.
